Perya or the carnival but not quite. Remember the magical ferry's wheel, the cotton candies and the vicious Zuma and Medusa? Don't forget the serene Deysebel! Where do we find them now? They are definitely not here. Perya is a documentary about a community of peryante (perya workers) moving from one town to another as they scrounge their ways through the very travels of beginnings and endings of every new site for every new fiesta.
Every new site is another splendor. Every new site is just another backyard for just another night.
